Over the last year Iâve become a huge fan of podcasts and have learned so much byÂ listening to them almost every day. I typically cycle between podcasts on filmmaking and business, and have genuinely been able to improve the way that I make films and run my production company as a result. At the same time, itâs been hardÂ toÂ findÂ podcasts that coverÂ micro-budgetÂ filmmaking, which I see as a missed opportunity as there are so many DIY filmmakers out there that want to expand their horizons.Â With that in mind, I decided toÂ fill that gap myself andÂ officially launch a podcast of my own:Â Show Donât Tell: A Podcast On Micro-Budget Filmmaking. In the past Iâve experimented with podcasts here and there, and have even released some one off episodes on this blog. This time around however, I am committing to a weekly format and will be releasing new episodes every Thursday. Each episode will tackle a different facet of the micro-budget filmmaking process, and will speak to the true independent filmmaker. While I will have the occasional guest on the podcast for an interview, right now the podcast is going to primarily be a one man show. It will serve as a new outlet for me to share additional and valuableÂ content with all of you, while allowing me to getÂ more in depth into topics that I already cover on the blog.
